Return and Refund Policy
Effective date: This Return and Refund Policy governs returns, exchanges, cancellations, replacements, store credit, and refunds for purchases made from Cozy Utility. It forms part of the contractual framework for your order together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and checkout disclosures. Because product categories, hygiene requirements, customization rules, and destination laws may differ, not all products are eligible for the same treatment. Any product-specific exception shown on the product page, pre-purchase notice, or order confirmation will prevail to the extent permitted by law.
Return eligibility period. Unless a longer statutory period applies under mandatory consumer law, return requests must be submitted within fourteen calendar days after delivery. A return request is considered timely when the request is sent within that period to info@cozyutility.life. We may, at our discretion, accept late requests in exceptional cases, but we are under no obligation to do so. Where local law grants a withdrawal or cooling-off right, that right will be honored in accordance with applicable law and subject to any lawful exclusions.
Condition requirements. To qualify for a return, the item must be unused or only handled to the extent reasonably necessary to inspect it, must be in its original condition, and should be returned with original packaging, accessories, labels, inserts, and any proof of purchase or order reference reasonably requested. We reserve the right to reduce the refund value, decline the return, or offer only partial compensation where the item shows signs of use beyond ordinary inspection, damage not caused during transit, missing components, contamination, tampering, or other deterioration affecting resale or safety.
Non-returnable and limited-return items. Products may be non-returnable where required by hygiene, safety, consumer, or product integrity rules, including but not limited to opened personal care items, perishable goods, intimate goods, hazardous materials, digital products after delivery or activation, sealed goods that are not suitable for return after opening, customized or personalized products, made-to-order goods, gift cards, downloadable assets, and sale items identified as final sale. Where a product is non-returnable, this will generally be disclosed on the product page or at checkout. If a product-specific restriction was not disclosed and mandatory law provides a right to return, we will comply with that law.
How to start a return. To request a return, contact info@cozyutility.life with your order number, the item(s) concerned, the reason for the request, and any relevant supporting details. We may respond with return instructions, a return authorization, a return shipping address, and where applicable a return label or carrier guidance. Returns sent without prior coordination may be delayed in processing or refused. Return shipping costs and responsibility. Unless the item is defective, incorrectly supplied, damaged in transit, or the return is required by mandatory law at our expense, you are responsible for return shipping costs, safe packaging, and risk until the return is received by us or our designated processor. We recommend a tracked and insured return method. Where we provide a prepaid label, the cost of that label may be deducted from the refund if this was disclosed in advance and is lawful in the relevant jurisdiction. Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Inspection, refund timing, and refund method. After the returned item reaches our designated facility, we will inspect it within a reasonable period. If the return is approved, refunds are generally issued to the original payment method. Depending on payment processor timelines, banking networks, currency conversion, and card issuer policies, settlement may take five to ten business days after approval, and in some cases longer. If the original payment method can no longer be used, we may offer store credit or an alternative lawful refund method. Any refund may be adjusted to reflect reductions in value, non-returnable components, unpaid duties, unreturned accessories, or other lawful deductions.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, notify us promptly and include your order number together with clear photographs and a concise description of the issue. We may request additional evidence, troubleshooting, or confirmation of disposal or return before issuing a replacement or refund. Remedies may include repair, replacement, partial refund, full refund, or store credit, depending on the circumstances, product type, and applicable consumer rights.
Order cancellation and refusal. Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting info@cozyutility.life, but cancellation is not guaranteed once fulfillment processing has begun. We may refuse, suspend, or cancel an order where fraud is suspected, inventory is unavailable, a pricing or listing error occurred, payment authorization fails, shipment is not feasible, or legal compliance concerns arise. Where payment has already been captured for a cancelled order, an appropriate refund will be arranged.
